Because of digital currency protocols, transactions cannot be reversed or cancelled once sent.
If you sent your Ether to the wrong address or to a non-Ether wallet, we are, unfortunately, unable to recover your funds, as we have no control over transactions.
It’s very important to make sure you have verified the transaction details before you tap send. Here are some tips to prevent mistakes:
- Ensure that the receiving wallet platform is capable of receiving ETH from Smart Contracts. READ: What are smart contracts?
- Always copy-paste the wallet address. Never type it, as this increases the chance of making an error.
- After pasting the wallet address, verify it is the same address. Double check the first and last few characters.
- Exercise caution when sending Ether. Never send funds to individuals you do not know.
