What is a Sub-Account?
A sub-account is a subsidiary account linked to your main Coins.ph account. It allows you to manage multiple trading strategies or operations without needing separate main accounts. This is particularly useful for users with professional trading teams or those who want to keep their trading activities organized.
Is there a limit to the number of sub-accounts per main account?
Yes, per main account on Coins can only create up to 30 sub-accounts for now.
Does the sub-account require 2FA?
Yes, users need to enable 2FA on their account first, otherwise it is not supported to create API or sub-accounts. More on enabling your 2FA here.
What are the requirements for the email addresses of sub-accounts?
- The email address of your sub-account cannot be the registered account email of Coins.ph, or the sub-account email address under another Coins main account.
- The email address should not contain specific symbols, including but not limited to “!#¥%……&*()”. Otherwise, you will encounter an error message "Please enter your valid email".
Will I have multiple deposit addresses for my sub-accounts?
Yes, each sub account would have a different deposit address.
How to check the trading history of each sub-account?
Currently, we only support sub-accounts to check trading history via API. Users are unable to check sub-account trading history on the website.
What are the restrictions on asset transfer when using sub-account API?

Can I login to Coins directly using my sub-account email?
At present, Coins doesn’t support sub-accounts to log in directly.
Do my sub-accounts have the same API order limit as my main account?
Yes, the API order limits for each sub-account are the same as the main account.
The frequency limit of each API key is counted independently. Unless multiple API keys are bound to the same IP, the IP will also be subject to the same frequency limit.
Are all sub-accounts entitled to the same trading fee rate as the main account?
Yes. Your VIP tier and correspondent trading fee rate will be defined by the aggregate trading volume of all sub-accounts and main account, enabling you to trade with even more favorable fees.
Can I withdraw assets directly from my Coins sub-account to my Coins.ph wallet?
No. Only the main account can withdraw funds to your Coins.ph account.
