We would like to inform you of an upcoming adjustment to our OpenAPI baseline rate limits, effective March 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM (PHT).
Current baseline limits:
- 1800 requests per minute per UID
- 1200 requests per minute per IP
Adjusted baseline limits:
- 180 requests per minute per UID
- 120 requests per minute per IP
This adjustment will apply to all standard API users whose rate limits fall under the baseline tier.
We recommend reviewing your current API usage and making any necessary adjustments to ensure continued stability and uninterrupted service after the new limits take effect.
• Why the change? Our goal is to provide a consistent, low-latency experience for every partner. By refining these defaults, we can better manage system resources and prevent service interruptions during peak global traffic.
• Does your workflow require a higher limit? We understand that some high-volume use cases may require more than the new default. If your current integration requires a higher throughput, you may reach out via our Support Form. We are happy to review your specific requirements for a custom limit increase.
Our team is dedicated to supporting your growth while ensuring a robust environment for all users. If you have any questions regarding how this might impact your specific integration, please don't hesitate to reach out.
