In order to successfully receive funds through Western Union, the name on a money transfer must match the name on the recipient’s Coins.ph wallet.
If the name on the money transfer does not match, the sender may do the following:
1. Go to the nearest Western Union branch and request the recipient's name to be updated; or
2. Contact Western Union through their 24-hour Customer Service Hotline at:
- 02 888-1200 (for calls within Metro Manila)
- 1-800-1-888-1200 (toll-free nationwide via PLDT Lines)
- 1-800-9-888-1200 (toll-free nationwide via Globe Lines)
- +632 888-1200 (for calls from overseas)
