A deposit of one token type to a different token type address is considered a cross-chain deposit -- for example, sending BTC to a BCH address.
The recovery of cross-chain deposits is a highly risky and time consuming process, and not all deposits can be successfully recovered. The type of token mistakenly sent and the type of receiving address can influence the difficulty, time and security risk involved. The time taken for recovery will be at our full discretion.
Because of the high risk involved in recovery operations, Coins.ph will only attempt to recover cross-chain deposits that exceed a minimum value of 0.5 BTC (or equivalent value) at the time of deposit and will charge a fee of 0.1 BTC (or equivalent PHP value) upon successful recovery. We do not guarantee successful recovery and can only attempt to perform cross-chain recoveries for the following cross-chain pairs:
- BTC to BCH addresses
- BCH to BTC addresses
- Certain ERC20 tokens sent to ETH addresses
