What is a Lightning Invoice?
A Lightning Invoice uses the Lightning Network on the BTC blockchain to create a payment request. This payment request includes a payment amount and a payment code which contains information about the payment's destination address and other data.
A Lightning Invoice ensures faster and cheaper transactions with other BTC Lightning Network- enabled wallets that use these easy-to-scan and easy-to-use payment codes.
