An upcoming Ethereum (ETH) hard fork, referred to as “London”, is expected to take place on August 5, 2021. The main improvement in this hard fork is the introduction of a less volatile and a more predictable transaction fee calculation.
Although it's referred to as a hard fork, the London upgrade has received strong support from the Ethereum community and no new tokens will be created after the maintenance.
To keep your funds secure while the upgrade is taking place, Coins.ph will implement a brief maintenance period for sending and receiving ETH, USDC, LINK, and KNC beginning on August 5, 2021 at 5:30 PM (PHT). We will re-enable these services once it is clear that the upgrade has been completed and the Ethereum network is stable.
Our team will take care of the technical requirements for this upgrade so customers do not need to take any specific actions for this. You may also check our status page (https://status.coins.ph) for updates on when the maintenance period will be completed.
