Remitly is a digital international money transfer service. Customers can now use this service to cash-in to their Coins.ph wallets or send funds to a recipient’s Coins.ph wallet while abroad.
Note: Before cashing in or sending the funds to another person's Coins.ph wallet, make sure that the recipient Coins.ph account is mobile number-verified. The registered number should also be a Philippine number (+63).
If the above requirement is met, here’s a quick guide on how to cash-in via Remitly, or how to send funds from Remitly to a Coins.ph wallet:
Step 1: Create an account, or log into Remitly.
Step 2: Choose who to send to - if it is an existing or prior person you have sent funds to,choose that person, and click Continue.
Note: If you are sending to a new recipient, click “Add New Recipient” first to input the details of your recipient.
Step 3: On the next screen, choose your Delivery Speed and associated fee:
Step 4: Scroll down and choose Delivery Method (mobile money) and select Coins.ph. Then click Continue.
Step 5: On the next screen, choose Payment Type. Input your details.
Note: Account number (mobile number registered to Coins.ph) must be a Philippine number (+63).
Step 6: On the next screen, confirm the sending and receiving details before confirming and sending the funds (scroll down the screen to see Sender and Receiver details).
Note: Your Coins.ph registered mobile number should be a PH number
Step 7: After confirming details and clicking “Send Money” at the bottom of the “Confirm & Send” screen, you’ll be shown a confirmation screen with your Reference Number and estimated Date of Delivery.
If you’ve opted for notifications, you’ll receive an email confirming your funds sent are on the way. Once funds are delivered to the wallet, the recipient will receive a confirmation of funds received.
