Steps to Change Your Mobile Number on the Coins App
1. Log in to your Coins.ph app.
Click the User icon on the upper left of the screen.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click on Mobile Number.
4. Check Security Notice
- Before proceeding, a security notice will prompt, informing you that withdrawals and cash outs will be temporarily locked for 24 hours.
- This added protection helps safeguard your account from unauthorized activity.
- If you wish to proceed, kindly click “Continue.”
5. Enter New Mobile Number.
- Input your new mobile number.
- Click on Send next to the SMS Verification Code section to receive a verification code on your new number.
- Note: The Next button will activate once you enter the required verification code.
6. Proceed with Facial Recognition.
This is a recent security feature to ensure it is indeed the account user requesting updates to their account details.
7. Input Verification Codes
- After successful facial recognition, enter all required verification codes under Security Check.
- Click Request Code along each code to receive them via your email, old number, and 2FA (if applicable). Wait a few moments for each code.
- Note: The Confirm button will become blue once all required codes are entered.
8. Your mobile number is now updated!
Note: Kindly also make sure that your SIM card is already registered for a smooth experience with your account.
