What is the Lock Account feature?
This tool gives you control over your account security. Once activated, it immediately freezes your account to prevent unauthorized access or withdrawals.
When you lock your account, we instantly:
Terminate Sessions: Log out your account from all devices.
Block Logins: Prevent any new login attempts.
Disable Transactions: Prevent creation of new Cash Outs, Transfers, and Crypto Withdrawals
Cancel Open Orders: Cancel all open orders on Spot Trade.
Block Account Changes: Block changes to your password, contact info, or linked devices.
Notify You: Send a confirmation of successful account lock.
With these measures, your assets and personal information are protected while your account is locked.
How to Lock Your Account
On App
- Open the app and go to your Security Settings.
Select Account controls.
Choose Lock account.
Carefully read the reminders and tick the box if you agree to the terms for locking your account.
5. Click Verify Now and complete the Security verification. This will involve a face scan and multi-factor authentication.
6. You should see the a confirmation page once security verification is succesfully passed. Your account is now safely locked!
On Web
- Open your Coins.ph account on your web browser and go to your Security Settings.
Select "Lock Account".
Carefully read the reminders and tick the box if you agree to the terms for locking your account.

How to Unlock Your Account
To regain access to your account, you will need to verify your identity through our secure reactivation process. This ensures that only you, the rightful account owner, can unlock and use your account again.
Note: You must use the same device when you activated the Lock Account feature for a successful reactivation.
Important Reminders
Completing the Lock Account process will immediately trigger all security features stated above including cancellation of open orders on Spot Trade which cannot be reversed.
You may only login once again if you complete an identity verification successfully.
Incoming transactions (cash ins or deposits) may still be processed even while your account is locked.
Outgoing transactions made before the activation of Lock Account cannot be cancelled. Please contact our support team to report any suspicious activity.
Never share your login credentials even after your account is reactivated.
