Introducing Asset Vault: Extra Security for Your Funds
At Coins.ph, keeping your digital assets safe is our top priority. We are excited to introduce Asset Vault—a security feature designed to give you greater control and peace of mind over your wallet balance.
Whether you are holding crypto for the long term or simply want an extra layer of protection for unused funds, Asset Vault allows you to safely lock away your assets so they cannot be accidentally moved, traded, converted, or withdrawn.
What is an Asset Vault?
An Asset Vault lets you temporarily secure funds you do not plan to use anytime soon. Once vaulted, these funds are completely restricted from any wallet activities—including trades, conversions, and withdrawals—until you choose to release them back into your available balance.
Key Features & Highlights
- Universal Support: Available for all supported fiat currencies (PHP) and crypto tokens.
- Flexible Allocation: Choose to vault your entire balance for an asset or just a partial amount.
- Cross-Platform Availability: Accessible to all users via both the Coins.ph app and web platform.
- Enhanced Unlocking Security: Releasing vaulted funds requires multi-factor authentication (MFA), ensuring only you can access them.
- Clear Balance Tracking: Easily monitor your locked assets on your wallet balance breakdown under the Vault Amount column.
Note: Funds that are currently frozen, on hold, pending active orders/transactions, or tied to Loyalty Rewards cannot be placed into the Asset Vault.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need to enter an OTP or MFA code when vaulting funds?
No. Placing funds into the Asset Vault does not require MFA verification. However, security verification (such as OTPs, 2FA, or Facial Recognition) is strictly required when releasing funds back into your active wallet.
2. Can I trade or withdraw my vaulted funds directly?
No. Once funds are vaulted, they are completely isolated from active transactions. You must first release them back into your main wallet balance before they can be used for spot trading, conversions, or withdrawals.
3. Why can't I place certain funds into the Asset Vault?
Assets that are currently locked under pending transactions, active spot orders, frozen/held statuses, or Loyalty Rewards balances are ineligible to be placed in the Asset Vault until those restrictions are cleared.
