Our website/app asks for explicit permission from you to receive data from the camera on your device as shown through a pop-up on your browser.
If you received this error while trying to submit a Selfie Verification or Facial Recognition, it means that your browser blocked our website/app from accessing your camera.
This may have happened because of the following:
- You might have accidentally clicked the Reject button when the camera permission pop-up appeared on your screen;
- Your browser might have automatically blocked the camera; or
- You may have an app or browser extension installed that automatically blocks camera access.
To grant the necessary permissions on your mobile device, please follow the instructions provided:
For Android
When taking your selfie verification, you will be prompted to allow Coins.ph to access your device's camera. When this happens, simply click on Allow and you will be able to take your selfie.
1. Go to your phone's Settings.
2. Select Apps or Manage Apps.
3. Click on Coins.ph.
4. Tap on Permissions/ App Permissions.
5. Select Camera, then click on Allow.
For iOS
When taking your selfie verification, you will be prompted to allow Coins.ph to access your device's camera.
1. Go to your phone's Settings.
2. Click on Coins.ph.
3. Enable Camera.
For Web Browser
To grant the necessary permissions on your browser, you will need to unblock camera access. To do this:
1. You may click "Allow" once provider a pop up shows asking for camera access.
2. You may also click the View Site Information icon found on the left hand side of the URL field (next to where it says "https://").
3. This will reveal a dropdown with all of your browser permissions settings. Look for "Permissions." For Camera, make sure that it is set to "Allowed".
