It is important for us to confirm your identity using a valid ID as this enables us to maintain and secure your account under our local regulations.
We accept the following forms of government ID for verification purposes:
- Passport
- Driver's License
- Social Security System (SSS) Card (date of birth must be visible on the ID)
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
- Postal ID
- Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID)
- Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) ID
- PhilHealth ID*
- Voter's ID*
*If you only have a PhilHealth ID or Voter's ID, this may be accepted through our website only. Kindly go through ID verification via web browser instead of the app.
For foreign customers, please submit your international passport to comply with Philippine regulations.
If you are married or have changed your name, we would need you to provide supporting documents such as your original PSA/NSO issued marriage certificate or birth certificate, respectively, to have your ID verified.
Please note that we only accept individuals aged 18 years old and above on our platform.

What if I do not have any of the acceptable IDs?
If you do not have any valid ID from our list above, we sadly cannot verify your account yet in compliance with our new policies. Valid IDs not under your name cannot be accepted as a Coins.ph account is strictly personal and non-transferable.
Note: Even if you are not yet ID and selfie verified, you may already Buy Load, Pay Bills, Send or Receive funds via wallet transfer, or Cash In through the selected outlets:
