Account security is at the top of our priority. With Coins accounts now using MPINs, securing your account is now easier to remember with the 4-digit passwords.
In case you forgot your MPIN, you may reset this with the email address or mobile number connected to your Coins.ph account. Just follow these quick steps below:
1. On the Login page, enter your mobile number then click Next. (If using your email address, you may click first the Use email instead option at the bottom of the screen.)
2. On the next screen, click the Forgot MPIN/Password? Option below the Password space.
Note: You may also access the Forgot MPIN/ Password? option by clicking the Need Help? button at the start, from the Login page.
From the list, you may choose Forgot my MPIN/ Password.
3. You may opt to provide the mobile number or email address, whichever is linked to your account (Kindly click the Use email instead to input your email address).
4. Then, provide a new MPIN for your account.
IMPORTANT: Accounts now come with MPINs! When choosing your new 4-digit MPIN, avoid using previously used MPINs. Kindly take note to avoid as well the following:
- Same digits (e.g. 0000, 1111)
- Incremental or decremental consecutive digits (e.g. 1234, 9876)
- Consecutive numbers (forward or reversed sequence) from your mobile number
- Derived from your birthdate
- MPIN previously used
- MPIN already used with another website or service
