If your account is currently at Level 2 verification and you wish to increase your limits, you may apply for Enhanced Verification (Level 3), subject to the relevant requirements and assessment.
You are not required to apply for Enhanced Verification if the new Identity Verification limit of ₱1,000,000 daily already meets your needs.
Below is the complete guide on how to submit your documents, tips for quick approval, and steps to fix a rejected submission.
Step 1: Re-verify Your Valid ID
Before you can proceed to Enhanced Verification (Level 3), you will first need to submit a valid ID for re-verification. As part of our compliance with local regulations and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, we need to ensure that our customers' information remains accurate and up to date, even if their accounts were previously fully verified.
Kindly submit your valid ID through the Identity Verification page of your Coins.ph account. Here are the valid government-issued IDs we can accept:
- Passport
- Driver's License
- Social Security System (SSS) Card (date of birth must be visible on the ID)
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
- Postal ID
- Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID)
- Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) ID
- Voter's ID
Step 2: Prepare Your Proof of Income
Once your ID has been re-verified, you may apply for Enhanced Verification by submitting any of the following as proof of income (all must be not older than 12 months):
- Payslip
- Certificate of Employment
- Bank Certificate/Bank Statement
- Latest Income Tax Return
- Proof of Inheritance
- Pension Statement
- DTI Registration
- Latest Audited Financial Statements
- Notarized Affidavit/Declaration of Trading as Primary Source of Income, or screenshots of your cryptocurrency trading portfolio and account proving ownership

Common Rejection Reasons and Solutions
| Rejection Reason | What It Means & How to Fix It |
| L2 Verification Missing / ID Re-verification Required | You must complete Level 2 identity verification and re-verify your valid ID through the Identity Verification page before upgrading to Enhanced Verification. |
| Outdated Document | Proof of Income documents must be not older than 12 months. Proof of Address documents must be dated within the last 6 months. |
| Unaccepted / Unofficial File Type | The document submitted is not on our accepted list, is password-protected, or is an unapproved screen capture. Upload a non-protected file (.JPG, .PNG, .PDF) or photo of the physical document. |
| Name or Relationship Mismatch | The name on the document doesn't match your verified account name. If using a family member's document, you must upload a supporting document (e.g., PSA Marriage Certificate or Birth Certificate) proving your relationship. |
| Address Issues (Incomplete, P.O. Box, or Mismatch) | The address must be a complete residential address (street, city, province, and postal code—no P.O. Boxes). It must appear on the document and match the exact address you typed into your app profile. |
| Blurry, Cropped, or Tampered File | The document is cut off, unreadable, altered, or missing necessary official stamps, seals, or signatures. Ensure all 4 corners are visible and details are clear. |
| Additional Documents Required | Our compliance team needs more context or a supplementary document to verify your source of income or address. Check your red prompt in the app for specific instructions. |
